Burlap {Thinking Christmas}

I know it’s a little early to think about Christmas decorating, but I just can’t help it.
I few weeks ago I picked up a couple meters of burlap for $2.99 at Value Village figuring there would be something crafty I could to with it. I think I might try to make some vintage looking stockings with pretty lace. Here is some inspiration:

I like the pretty sparkly rhinestone touch.

Maybe I can even stencil a word on it.

Maybe a burlap Christmas bunting!

These linen and burlap ornaments are sort of ‘old’ Christmas which I love.
Something that Anne Shirley and her dear friend Dianna Berry would have made.

And this is a cool project I’d like to try!
Here is a tutorial. Gotta love that.

oh...I seen some really cute creche items made in burlap on one blog.. NO clue which one...lol.
but maybe you could google. The bodies were made of burlap, and then wooden heads, and using a plaid or stripe for the head covering,
simple but sooooo cute.
