We’ve been sleeping with our mattress on our box spring since August now, and, while that’s fine, I am ready for a real bed. Is it funny to say that the reason I want a bed is so that we will have storage underneath? Do you know how much vital floor space is sitting beneath us?
I spotted this lovely Ikea bed in the current issue of Style at Home.

I love the antique, shabby chic look of the bed and have begged the BFF to at least go tot Ikea to have a little look.

Yeah I agree that's a lot of wasted potential space you're sleeping on - plus if it means a trip to Ikea it's definately worth buying!!
Love the bed...did he go for it?
I have the Ikea bed! I posted a picture of it in my blog post today! However you will notice that my bed is black. I work at a powder coating shop, and they painted it black for me. I just fell in love with the bed, and the price. I only paid $99.00.
Hope you get a new bed soon! It makes a bedroom look so lovely
