For about a year now my parents have gotten into refinishing antique furniture. They usually attend auctions and sometimes score some sweet finds off Craigslist. Here is a sampling of the furniture that they currently have. Some pieces are in dire need of a refinish, a paint job or just some TLC to freshen it up.
This first picture is a bench that my mom recovered and repainted. The chair is its 'matching' partner of what it used to look like.

I love the metal pulls on this piece and the keyholes add such character!
